Liftor ("we", "us") provides a fitness and nutrition coaching application. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect

  • Account & Profile: name, email, password hash (via Supabase Auth), preferences.

  • Fitness & Wellness Data (you choose to provide): height, weight, goals, injuries/avoid list, check‑ins (mood, energy, soreness, sleep), workouts, meals, water intake, supplements, free‑text notes.

  • Device & Usage: app version, device type/OS, IP address, approximate location (from IP), app interactions, diagnostic logs.

  • Payments: subscription status and identifiers from app stores or payment processors. We do not store full card data on our servers.

  • Images for Snap Food: photos you upload for nutrition estimation; we store derived nutrition results and the image path if you save it.

How We Use Information

  • Deliver and personalize coaching (weekly base plan + daily adjustments)

  • Measure adherence and generate insights, charts, and history

  • Process payments, manage subscriptions and entitlements, prevent fraud

  • Improve features, train heuristics, and troubleshoot issues

  • Communicate service updates and provide customer support

Legal Bases / Grounds

  • Consent (e.g., wellness data, images for Snap Food)

  • Contract necessity (to provide the app’s core features)

  • Legitimate interests (security, analytics, service improvement)

  • Legal obligations (tax/accounting, compliance requests)

Sharing

  • Service Providers: hosting (Supabase), analytics (if enabled), AI vendors for image analysis (e.g., Google’s Gemini), and app stores/payment processors. Access is limited to performing their services.

  • Legal/Compliance: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and property.

  • Business Transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

International Transfers
Data may be processed outside India. We implement reasonable safeguards and contractual protections for transfers.
Retention
We retain data while your account is active and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion; backups may persist for a limited period.
Your Choices & Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your information

  • Export your data (on request)

  • Withdraw consent for certain processing

  • Opt out of marketing communications

Children
Liftor is not directed to children under 13. Do not use if you are under 13.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest; Supabase Row Level Security; strict access controls; periodic reviews. No method is 100% secure.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
